The problems on the planet is that the Sky Cities block out the sun for the land people, and another argument is that the disks are not pleasant the look up. They are just huge grey things blocking out the sky. (Of course, the Cities are mad up in patches, so they don’t block out the whole sky…just some of it). The sky citizens like to look down on the land, and also argue that the land people could move from under the disks, but the land people are stubborn and so are the Citizens. These arguments raises fights, most of the time wars. The Erozians are not united in any way, and there are no alliances with any of the regions. For example, the sky people think land people are lazy and crude, the land people think Sky Citizens are rude, greedy and selfish. The desert think the meadow people are cowardly, the meadow people think desert are unintelligent. The jungle people think the forest people are dull and forest people think they are careless. So, fights often break out between each region. Peace treaties are rare. The other problem is that the sky city’s weather can get really cold (it usually is), and it gets dumped on with rain at 10 gallons minimum. The roofs can’t hold that much water so, water gets inside the buildings and people can’t do anything about it since it’s fatal to work on the roofs.
